The first five confirmed teams to sign up to the partnership program are Fnatic, Immortals, Na’Vi, G2 and LGD Gaming.

Newzoo CEO Peter Warman said of the program: “We share a vision, ambition, and feeling of responsibility with our partners to actively contribute to the maturity of the market in general and involvement of large consumer brands in particular.”

He continued: “We are still seeking a limited number of esports teams that see the benefit of our market intelligence, expertise, and global network to grow their business, and are willing to share their experience and vision on the future.”

Esports Insider says: Newzoo has been invested in the esports space for some time and is a big believer, with the stats to back up its assessments, that it’s going to keep growing. This program will position them well and the calibre of the teams signed up is testament that they must have impressed with their pitch.
