On a Facebook Live stream with PCMag, esports bookmaker Unikrn and hardware company MAINGEAR announced a new partnership. The video featured Unikrn CEO Rahul Sood and MAINGEAR CEO Santos Wallace revealing the new deal.

Sood has a rich history in computer hardware, having originally founded Voodoo Gaming and pioneering the creation of some of the first gaming PCs to be developed.

Now, Sood operates as CEO of Unikrn – an esports betting operator with big plans and he’s also looking to engineer a space for esports in the casino industry.

The announcement of a partnership with MAINGEAR, a hardware company run by CEO Santos Wallace, is an interesting one.

In the Facebook Live stream, Rahul said:

“On the hardware side, there’s really very few companies that have the brand cache or at least the potential to be a big brand in gaming and MAINGEAR is truly the best builder of PCs on the planet”

“Unikrn is taking a significant position in MAINGEAR – eventually we see the two companies doing a lot more together. [..] I see a tonne of potential with MAINGEAR and where it’s going to go – especially in the next year.”

Esports Insider says: Rahul has knowledge better than most around gaming computers and is heavily entrenched in the esports scene. You just have to take a look at his past achievements to know that he’s a great businessman so we’re very interested to see where this partnership goes. At the moment, not too much has been revealed but we’re sure that there will be more to come.
