Swim with dolphins? Climb Everest? Try that probably poisonous blowfish Homer eats in the Copyright: rawpixel / 123RF Stock PhotoSimpsons? All valid bucket list ideas, but our one is specifically catered to those attending ICE Totally Gaming this year.

The world’s largest free to attend gambling conference, hosted by Clarion Events, is at the ExCeL Centre next week (February 7-9th). Esports looks set to be an even buzzier word than in 2016.

It’s easy to get both lost and distracted once at the conference, so we’ve put together a helpful guide to ensure you see all the key esports related happenings on offer.

Speakers include Spike Laurie of ESL UK, Unikrn CEO Rahul Sood, ESIC’s Ian Smith, Harry Lang of Pinnacle, Peter Ivanov of Ultraplay and more. The morning is full of informative sessions such as an introduction to esports and ‘Understanding your target audience’ whilst the afternoon is an immersive workshop hosted by seminar sponsor Ultraplay.

  • Watch the Betradar Esports Invitational & meet ReDeYe

At the Betradar stand there’ll be a showdown between two UK teams; Impulse Gaming and Endpoint. Paul ‘ReDeYe’ Chaloner will also be on hand for a chat and to introduce Betradar’s esports product. This has been developed in partnership with Dojo MADNESS, an analytical platform owned by esports maverick Jens Hilgers. The invitational will be at the Betradar / Sportradar stand at S1-150, stop by at 11am or 2pm Tuesday or Wednesday.

That’s right. Us. In person. Come to Stand SD2 C&D for a chat, a coffee and to talk esports, betting and everything in-between. Oddslife, one of our partner brands, will also be on hand to discuss social esports betting (using virtual currency) and the esportspredictor.com product that it has planned.

  • Try and beat an Outlaw at CS:GO

    Outlaws

Ultraplay backed team Outlaws, which has made quite an impression in CounterStrike in its short life so far, will be present at the supplier’s stand at S3-140. We’ve been assured there’ll be prizes for ‘just taking part’ so step up; you could be the next GeT_RiGhT.

Or you can be boring and just watch.

  • Enter the Dragons’ Den – Pitch ICE Perfect

4 esports start-ups will pitch at the GamCrowd competition at ICE in London next month

Catch at least some of the GamCrowd Pitch ICE competition in which selected start-ups compete for both attention and investment. Four of those on show are esports focused, and we interviewed them all prior to the event. Find out more about Yamzu here, Betters’ Rift here, PVP.me here and Double R Quits here.

Attending Pitch ICE is the closest thing to having a functional crystal ball for the imminent future of innovation in the gaming space.

  • More live CS:GO thanks to Vermantia

To celebrate the launch of Vermantia’s esports product the company is hosting a CS:GO showdown between eSuba and NL Gaming on Wednesday 9th at 3:30pm (Stand S4-120). NeiL_M will be casting.
