Buffalo Wild Wings and Team Dignitas sign partnership

NASDAQ-listed Buffalo Wild Wings Inc has announced its first partnership in esports, with Team Dignitas. The deal sees Buffalo Wild Wings, a famous chain of restaurants, become the “Official Hangout for Team Dignitas” and in return it shall receive prominent logo placement on the sleeve of the Dignitas jerseys, will see player appearances at restaurants, will create exclusive content and also will have branding on live streams across both Twitch and Facebook.

The partnership got underway yesterday, with Elle “Ellektrikk” Lockyer, a popular Dignitas streamer undertaking the first “Buffalo Wild Wings Stream of the Month”, where Elle streamed all day from 10:30 to 19:00 EST. At TwitchCon this weekend, Dignitas and Buffalo Wild Wings will team up to present 1v1 amateur League of Legends tournament and they will also host an online tournament over coming months.

The TwitchCon tournament will take place on Sunday, October 22nd. The first 16 TwitchCon attendees that have reached level 30 can sign up with Dignitas representatives roaming the esports arena at TwitchCon. Participants will receive a gift bag, and the winner will take home a grand prize package including a $300 Buffalo Wild Wings gift card and Dignitas branded merchandise. In addition, Terry “Big” Chuong and Adrian “Adrian” Ma willl compete head-to-head with finalists in front of the audience.
