100 Thieves, a professional esports organisation and lifestyle brand, has entered a one-year partnership with Razer. This deal will see the organisation’s League of Legends roster kitted out with mice, keyboards, headsets, and surfaces from the brand for both training and competing purposes.

Min-Liang Tan, co-founder and CEO of Razer said the following in a statement: “100 Thieves is a team to be reckoned with as we’ve seen with their solid performance this year alone. They are a welcomed new addition to our growing Team Razer roster of talent. The team is bound for high achievements and we are thrilled to support them every step of the way.”

Matt “Nadeshot” Haag, Founder and CEO of 100 Thieves also commented: “We are beyond excited to partner with Team Razer. We have built a competitive League of Legends roster and Razer’s high-performance gaming devices will push us further as our team continues to evolve.”

Prior to this deal, 100 Thieves’ sole partner was Rocket Mortgage by Quicken Loans, a mortgage provider that sponsors the team house – aptly titled the Rocket Mortgage Team House – in which the players both live and practice. Rocket Mortgage also has its logo placed prominently on 100 Thieves’ well-received team jersey. Quicken Loans was founded by Dan Gilbert, who invested millions of dollars into 100 Thieves in November 2017.

Razer sponsors other esports teams, such as SK Telecom T1, SK Gaming, KSV eSports, Seoul Dynasty, Rise Nation, Red Reserve, and Team Kinguin.

Esports Insider says: 100 Thieves has quickly become one of the most exciting teams in the industry with an impressive inaugural season in the NA LCS and plenty of high-quality content being created for its YouTube channel. Razer has made the sound choice by securing 100 Thieves for at least a year.
