AOC join as sponsor for the UK Esports Awards

The UK Esports Awards has announced another sponsor has come onboard for the first iteration of the awards, AOC joins the likes of Overclockers and G FUEL in supporting the awards.

The awards will be hosted at the ESL UK studio in Leicester, AOC has a standing relationship with the venue with their monitors being used for the upcoming UK Premiership, which will return for its eighth season.

The UK Esports Awards also recently announced that Esports Insider would join the awards as a media partner, while streamer Stephen “Nozzabox” Morris would be joining as a partner

Speaking about the deal, Nathan Blank, UK Channel Sales Manager at AOC had this to say: “AOC is very proud to support the first UK Esports Awards, which recognises and celebrates all the hard work of those who commit their life to making the esports scene what it is today and which path it is on. Just like the past 5 years, we will continue to prioritise this very important sector as well as the people that shape it and will keep building on our already strong position with new exciting products for both the enthusiast and professional gamers.”

Adam Heath, UK Esports Awards co-founder added: “It’s a pleasure to be working alongside AOC for the UK Esports Awards. They have consistently shown their support for the esports scene over the last few years, so it’s great to have them on-board with this awards ceremony – a first for UK esports. AOC has raised the bar in the gaming monitor space; we’re thrilled to be teaming up with them for this event.”

The UK Esports Awards will take place on Saturday the 7th of July. The event will be streamed via Twitch, more details on the stream and finalist will be announced soon.

Esports Insider says: Support like this for a first-year event is a big deal, the team behind the UK Esports Awards have clearly worked hard to sell the idea to brands and those brands are clearly paying attention.
