Yahoo and ESL team up for tournament coverage

The latest partnership in esports has been announced and it’s in the form of two major players; ESL and Yahoo.

The initial two year agreement will see Yahoo Esports cover and stream selected ESL tournaments, such as ESL Ones and the Intel Extreme Masters, in high definition. It will also see the pair work together to create new events.

Yahoo Video and Esports Vice President Zachary John said: “Our Yahoo Esports team is extremely excited to be partnering with ESL to bring greater coverage of its leading esports events.Yahoo’s unique storytelling, highly talented editorial staff and global scale are a great combination with ESL’s experience and leadership in the space.”

The hand picked Yahoo Esports content team includes Andrea Rene, Travis Gafford, Dylan Walker and Taylor Cocke amongst others.
