Outlaws, an esports team and academy launched in September by UltraPlay, has now won three gaming tournaments in a row.

After winning ESL Southeast European Championship in November the team won Adria Masters and Counter-Strike Champions League Season 5.  The Bulgarian gamers are making an impression on professional CSGO in Europe.

The first tournament, the Adria Masters, took place in Belgrade on December 10th and 11th, with eight teams taking part. The last time the Bulgarian team were in Serbia, they won the ESL European Championship.

The CSGO Champions League Season 5 lasted for 16 days from the 28th of November to December 13th. The competition was held online and consisted of 16 teams. The Grand final was a close match up with Tricked eSports club, a best of three which saw Outlaws win 2-1 and take the Championship title.

Dariy Margaritov, CEO of UltraPlay commented: “We are very happy with how Outlaws are growing as a team and we have high hopes for 2017. We are aiming for Outlaws to become a global esports brand and compete in all Majors in the future. Congratulations to our team for winning the tournaments!”

Meanwhile the whole team of Outlaws and UltraPlay itself shot its own version of the current social media trend, the Mannequin challenge, in the company’s office. A total of four esports teams took part in the video; with Dark Passage (Turkey), iNation (Serbia) and Nexus (Romania) joining Outlaws. You can watch their attempt below…

Esports Insider says: We want to see UltraPlay’s Outlaws esports academy and team investment replicated elsewhere. It’s a great help in developing the local scene and giving Bulgarian players an opportunity. And hats off for delivering one of esports’ largest mannequin challenges to date.
