Counter Logic Gaming (CLG) and OMEN by HP have announced that OMEN by HP is now the Official PC & Monitor Partner of Counter Logic Gaming.

The partnership reportedly ‘goes beyond a solely sponsorship and hardware deal’ in that it includes a ‘strong content integration’ which’ll feature player live-streams on the OMEN by HP Twitch channel, video content, and more across socials.

OMEN by HP and CLG will work in tandem to provide CLG players and coaches to provide the resources needed, whilst OMEN itself stands to benefit with CLG players set to work with HP product engineers as they develop the next generation of gaming hardware.

Nick Allen, COO, Counter Logic Gaming commented: “We are always searching for opportunities to enhance CLG’s player performance, and that makes OMEN by HP a perfect partner as the leader in gaming PCs across the world.

“We’re excited to advance CLG’s position in esports alongside OMEN by HP and create amazing content for the best fans in esports.”

“The OMEN by HP team is deeply passionate about esports and committed to its success for everyone at all levels of play,” said Chin Wu, HP’s AMS PC Gaming Marketing Manager. “We’ve already got some awesome plans underway with CLG. In fact, the OMEN Dojo on our Twitch channel, /OMENbyHP, hinted towards this alliance by featuring CLG mid laner Huhi this past Monday. We’re tremendously excited for what CLG is working towards and proud to help them become better athletes, a stronger team, and ultimately the champions we all know they are.”

There’ll be regular streams with CLG players such as the aforementioned OMEN Dojo. This program is a new streaming series that will feature CLG pros giving lessons from top esports titles, from League of Legends to Rainbow Six: Siege. OMEN by HP will be included on all official CLG team jerseys and be involved at select CLG team events.

Esports Insider says: OMEN by HP have been making some esports moves of late, this partnership with CLG follows on from a sponsorship of the exceL Esports team house and the announcement of a UK grassroots focused CS:GO tournament. The inclusion of CLG players working with HP engineers could prove to be a big win for the company too in terms of future product development.
