RESPAWN Products, a gaming furniture company, has become the official furniture partner of the High School Esports League – an American initiative that encourages and aids schools in promoting esports in schools.

RESPAWN’s furniture will be used at the high schools who participate in any of the High School Esports League’s programs and tournaments across the country.

The High School Esports League holds competitions for those in high school across thirteen titles, with over 10,000 currently participating. RESPAWN was launched in 2017, using OFM‘s research and development program to help create ergonomic gaming furniture. Registry for the High School Esports League’s Spring Majors closes on April 5th.

Mason Mullenioux, CEO of HSEL said the following regarding the partnership: “We understand the importance of equipping our young adults and esports athletes with the right equipment for play, and so we look forward to working with RESPAWN so that our network of high schools can gear up. Through this partnership with RESPAWN, we aim to provide the ability for our high school players to experience the same high quality gaming furniture that professionals use in esports competitions around the world.”

Blake Zalcberg, CEO of OFM, Inc also commented: “It’s important to us to invest in the future of esports on the ground floor, which is currently the amazing group of players playing at the high school level in HSEL. We are ecstatic to outfit these young professionals with gear they can be proud of and that will help them boost their game to the collegiate level.”

Some of the titles students can compete on include League of Legends, Hearthstone, Rocket League, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and Overwatch.

Esports Insider says: We’re always glad to see esports initiatives at school-level, so RESPAWN helping to improve the experience of those competing is a welcome sight.
