Overwatch League franchise Washington Justice has announced Events DC as its founding partner and signature sponsor.
The venue and event company branding will be displayed on the front of Washington Justice’s jersey, it’ll also host live activations & watch parties and produce content.
Mark Ein, Founder of Washing Esports Ventures touched on the partnership in a statement: “We are proud to welcome Events DC as a founding partner of the Washington Justice,” said Mr. Ein. “Events DC has been at the forefront of the esports revolution and their support was critical to bringing the team to our community.”
Washington Justice is one of eight expansion teams to join Activision Blizzard’s Overwatch League ahead of its second season. It’ll compete in the Atlantic division, first facing off against New York Excelsior from February 16th.

Teams will play in 28 matches throughout the regular season, whereas 40 were played per team in the inaugural season. When the third season comes around in 2020, teams are expected to be playing from home venues.
