Jolanda Jansen, CEO Rotterdam Ahoy, said: “We are very excited to host the 12th season of the Dota 2 tournament in Rotterdam Ahoy. It is the first time that such a major Dota tournament is coming to the Benelux. It fits our ambition to become the number one esports and gaming festival in our country.

“It will surely attract additional fans; the league is a great expansion for our event for which we earlier announced Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Tournament.”

Esports Insider says: It’s great to see that the CORSAIR DreamLeague is once again expanding outside of Sweden. The Rotterdam Ahoy has already played host to multiple esports tournaments this year, so there is no doubt the crowd will be insane. We look forward to seeing what teams will be heading to Rotterdam.
