Serbian event producer Relog Media has partnered with esports data provider GRID to host #HomeSweetHome, an online Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament.
The event series has a $320,000 (£276,081.60) prize pool and will take place over eight-weeks, commencing with its opening tournament between March 31st and April 5th.
Over the next two months, a total of 16 teams will participate in the standalone tournaments to compete for $40,000 (£34,529) in cash prizes each week.
Additionally, there is said to be a final tournament at the end of the series where the eight top finishers will compete for a separate prize pool, with more information said to be coming in the following weeks.

Petar Markovic, COO of Relog Media, commented on the tournament series in a release: “Relog Media is pleased to announce its collaboration with GRID. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and the global ‘stay at home’ campaign, GRID and Relog Media are attempting to fill a programming gap left by a series of event cancellations. Among those confirmed to play in #HomeSweetHome are GODSENT, North, and forZe. Furthermore, GRID has confirmed it will cooperate with ESL to harmonise its schedule to avoid overlap with the ongoing ESL Pro League.

GRID had previously teamed up with esports bookmaker Unikrn to host the United Masters League, a CS:GO tournament which held two editions across 2018 and 2019.
Esports Insider says: Online tournaments are starting to sprout up at every turn while individuals across the world look for ways to occupy their time at home during global quarantines. With that, and the cancellation of many traditional sports leagues, esports betting providers are seeing surges in growth and participation, giving more incentive for GRID to be involved in hosting a CS:GO tournament.
