The sponsorship division of esports tournament series HomeSweetHome (HSH) has announced a partnership with German broadcast studio Fragster for its CS:GO events.

According to the release, Fragster will provide German coverage for all of HSH’s CS:GO tournaments in 2021, starting with its SnowSweetSnow event.

HSH will also collaborate with Fragster to create a new German community channel, titled TEBTV DE, specifically for CS:GO commentating. The channel is named after TheEsportsBible, HSH’s official coverage partner.

It was announced last year that Serbia-based production company Relog Media had purchased the licensing for HSH from data platform GRID Esports. As a result of the deal, Relog Media has expanded the series to create seasonal tournaments, plus the firm is currently in the process of expanding HSH into Dota 2.

In addition, Relog Media has also expressed its desire to expand its efforts and focus on the German market.

Harry Wiggett, a spokesperson for HomeSweetHome, added: “It’s important for us to start expanding our broadcasts into local areas and Germany is a natural fit for the team. We look forward to engaging with German brands and activating them across the year with our German community and team. To German CSGO fans out there, I truly hope to offer more variety and a fresh production style. I’ll always be open to feedback or ideas directly via my channels.“

As per the release, the German CS:GO audience is only offered regionalised commentary of BLAST, ESL and DreamHack events by 99Damage. As such, Fragster, TheEsportsBible and Relog Media are looking to offer more variety and options to fans.

Daniel Bürgle, Founder of Fragster, added: “We are thrilled to be part of such a strong vision! Bringing more German CSGO coverage to the scene is one of our main goals. Our commentators are a team of experienced and young talents that deserve to make their mark in the German community!” Los gehts!”

TheEsportsBible, a media service powered by GRID’s data, aims to produce exclusive and in-depth content from Relog Media’s tournaments throughout the HomeSweetHome 2021 series.

Esports Insider says: Following on from the news that HSH will be made available to Chinese viewers, the team behind the series has managed to secure yet another valuable partner in Fragster. Not only does this continue to expand the reach of HSH’s events in 2021, but the new partnership provides German viewers with even more CS:GO content tailored to the region.
