UTA appoints Ander Nickell as esports Brand Partnerships Executive

Global talent and entertainment agency UTA has appointed Ander Nickell as its esports division’s new Brand Partnerships Executive.

According to the release, Nickell will focus on building innovative brand partnerships for the company’s growing roster of esports athletes and content creators. He will be based in Los Angeles.

Bringing over 15 years of experience, Nickell recently served as the Head of Global Partnerships at Activision, where he oversaw collaborations for titles such as Call of Duty, Warzone, Tony Hawk, and Crash Bandicoot. 

During his tenure, Nickell secured multi-year partnerships with global brands such as Pepsi, Sony, Comcast, Kellogg’s, Nvidia and Papa John’s.

Prior to Activision, Nickell worked as a Director of Client Development at GMR Marketing. Moreover,  he began his career at IMG.
